Hi JN, E. L. Bruce Lumber Co. was a huge hardwood flooring company in North Memphis, on Thomas St. I believe. Memphis is/was one of the largest providers of hardwood flooring in the USA, almost as famous as Memphis is for cotton. How about contacting the Memphis Chamber of Commerce, or maybe the Memphis History Room at the Public Library on Peabody?
