I am new to the list and wonder if anyone can help me with a brick wall. We are searching for the parents of my wife's g-grandmother Katie May WHITE and have not been able to determine who were her parents. Katie is listed in the 1891 Memphis City Directory living on Vollentine Avanue, east of Breedlove Avenue. In 1892, Katie married John W. BUSBY of Eudora, Mississippi. Can anyone suggest any Memphis or Shelby County research sources from the 1890 period that may be helpful in tracking Katie May White down?
