HELP! HELP! PLEASE HELP! :-) Well, once again I think I may have a found a tiny crack in one of my brick walls. I have just found that John was born in Memphis, Shelby Co., TN abt. 1828. His first son was named James S. Buchanan. So with naming patterns being as they are, is anyone researching a James Buchanan born about 1800 that lived in Memphis, Shelby Co., TN about 1828-1830. Did he have a son named John A.? Also, since his father-in-law's name was James, it is possible that his father was also named John A., since John A. seems to travel down the branches of the tree. I would love to break this brick wall wide open. After all, we have been researching this branch for more than twenty years. I will also accept suggestions gladly on other possibilities.
