Less than 24 hours ago I posted a request for assistance in finding the "possible" burial site of my ancestor Samuel O. Burden/Burdan on this site and several others. Thanks to the kind response from Shelby Co. folks such as John Cothern, Donald L. Hawkins, and BSTark....I now know where Samuel is buried, when he fell to typhoid during the Civil War. I've been at genealogy for more than 6 years, on-line for most of those years and have never encountered such friendly and helpful people, nor such quick responses. Thanks to all of you.
