Hi all on the list, I am searching for the burial site of Samuel O. Burden/Burdan, Union Soldier, member of Durell's Independent Artillery, also known as Artillery Co. A. 104th P.V; or 2nd Independent Pennsylvania Battery; or Independent Battery "D" Pennsylvania Volunteer Artillery; Captain George W. Durell's Battery; or Captian Samuel H. Rhoads' Battery. Samuel O. died Aug. 19, 1863, age 22 or 23, in Memphis, TN of typhoid. He was not brought home to Berks or Montgomery Counties, PA for burial.
