Hi...researching the Walter Walker Brown and Thomas C. Brown Sr. and Jr, families. Lived in Shelby COunty in late 1800's and early 1900's.....Thanks....
I'm looking for anything that might verify a family member was in Memphis. A Swedish Immigration record says Frans Wickenberg immigrated to Memphis in Sep 1870. But we only find him in Wisconsin. Was there a Swedish community in Memphis, TN in 1870? It sounds like an unusual place for a Swede to go when he had no family there. Thanks, Greg
Hello, Is anyone collecting data concerning the surnames SNOW and BRADLEY in TN, particularly, Shelby Co and Henry Co Let me know , thanks jim

I would like to pass along a good place to have copies made of old pictures. I use Office Depot. they will make a copy that is very good quality, black and white or color. you can make the same size as the original or they will enlarge. it is done while you wait, and the price is good a color picture, page size is only $1.29 or if you have several small pictures they will all fit on one page for the same price. you can choose stiff paper or shinny paper. price may be a few cents more for better quality paper. Besides, this allows you to preserve the originals. Also you should store in "Acid- free" containers and be very careful with transparent tape, glue and "photo corners" If in doubt, contact a paper expert at a local museum.
