    1. Orphanages/FosterHomes
    2. Ken, Read your information about Orphanages etc. Perhaps you can help me. I am trying to find the source of where and how my father and aunt was placed in a home in Olive Branch MS. These families who accepted them during the 1930s also received funds from some place to keep them, however Paul and Ruth lived in Memphis prior to placement. Here is the story, my grandmother died of arsenic poisoning in 1926, my grandfather died shortly thereafter, unknown reasons. Paul, my father and Ruth, my aunt was orphaned, placed in homes in Olive Branch, Ms. They were placed there by a Judge who lived in Maywood, MS. but worked in Memphis. Don't know this Judges' name, probably deceased. The older members of these families are deceased and the younger members know little about this transaction. Have you any advice on best place to get info or records. Memphis Probate has no records, same with the library. These families who took in Paul and Ruth, received monies to keep them but where? Appreciate help, Bob Parker Sgtmajrp@aol.com
