I am looking for information on Nancy Rogers who married C.T. Deaton in 1916 in Shelby County. They were divorced by 1920 so I'm not sure where she was living in 1920. She remarried in Oct 1920 to Henry Folsom. She may have lived with her sister Ether Bearden, wife of Dr. Martin Bearden. Is the 1920 Shelby County census indexed or transcribed anywhere? How could I get a lookup? Henry and Nancy Folsom were killed sometime in the 1920's in a car accident in Mississippi (Clarksdale?). I cannot find death certificates in Miss or Tenn. Does anyone have any ideas on how I might find information on their deaths? They may be buried in Shelby County. Thanks for any help, Carey Rogers

He had a farm off of Turkey Ridge Road in Memphis near Capleville and had land in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Henry B. Howell, buried in 27 Chapel Hill #6. His birthday was 12/01/1816, his date of death was 12/18/1884, and his burial date was 12/21/1884. The others buried on his lot are: (the writing is very hard to read so forgive any errors) May Howell Infant children of H.B. Howell Jennie Howell Henry B. Howell Mary Annie Howell Henry B. Howell John M. Stein, buried 5/22/1819. Mrs. Addie L. Stein, buried 4/3/1938. Edwin C. Estes (ashes), buried 8/8/1942. Thank-you for your time. Elizabeth from Daytona Beach wardlow@juno.com
I would like to know if someone could let me know where I might write to get marriage and divorce records for Shelby County? Would it be the Shelby County Circuit Clerks Office? I am seeking a divorce record for a Lofton Richard Watson and Lena(or Lera) Clonts(or Clouts) Watson which I believe took place between 1920 and 1925 in Memphis. I also understand that after divorcing Lofton that Lena(or Lera) may have remarried and divorced twice more. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
