Chrystie, I, too, have my same of skeletons in the closet. My dad once told me not to go looking for the past if you can't accept what you might find because you can't change the past. I've found more good than bad and hope that bodes well for my daughter and her generation. I can't help you with information about Little Cove, but you inspired me to list my greatest mystery. Solomon Williams was not born on Mars but I've become convinced that he was found under a turnip leaf in Jones Cove area of Sevier County. Solomon first shows up in the 1830 Sevier County census married to Lucinda (dau. of Archibald McMahan). Census shows his date of birth as 1805. There are several other Williams families in Jones' Cove at that time but due to the numerous fires in county courthouses, no records of his parents survive. The earliest book in the Sevier County records is volume H. Solomon is listed on the first page of that volume. What I won't give to have a look at A- G. Oh, well. I feel Solomon must be related to those families somehow since the name Solomon appears in MULTIPLE generations. If ANYONE has a Solomon Williams born 1805 married to Lucinda McMahan, please contact me so we can compare notes. This mystery is driving me up the wall. And Chrystie, keep my e-mail address. I'm kin to half the Walkers in Sevier county (probably more) so if you can find the connection, I can probably help fill in a lot more blanks. Thanks, Kimberly
