    3. Hi Chrystie, Thanks for writing. I appreciate you sharing your family history. You have done a lot of research. I wish that I knew half as much about my John Helton family, from Sevierville, as you do about your family. I have no idea how they were looked upon by the community. John's brother Levi and his family are buried at Shiloh Cemetery. Have you ever heard anything about the Helton family? I believe that they were also Baptists. I'm told that there are still descendants living in the area. I'm sorry that I can't help with any good reading material about the old Holly Springs area... or Little Cove, but perhaps there is someone that can help. I'm interested in the Pigeon Forge area. I have read a good book about the area in general titled, Smoky Mountain Country written by North Callahan. It can be purchased from the Smoky Mountain Historical Society.
