Hi to the list, I was very interested in what Janet had to say about where there were Williams there was Henrys even in Missouri. The Joseph & Anderson Henry is what caught my attention . According to someone elses research there was a Joseph Henry born 1829 in Jones Cove,Sevier Co.TN. to William b:1803& Mary Henryb:1810 who also was from Jones Cove. William Henrys parents were supposed to be Robert & Lucy Henry. According to this researcher William& Mary Henry moved to Missouri after the birth of their first 2or 3 children then the next6 children were born in Missouri then they moved back to Sevier/Cocke Co. where 2 or more children were born in Sevier/Cocke Co. I have NO proof for anyof this but I believe that Rev.John Henry born 1828 in Sevier/Cocke Co. he married Jane Catlett in 1850 at Union Baptist Church of Christ in Cosby Cocke Co.TN. was the first born of this William&Mary Henry and Joseph was the second born. In the 1860 Census for Sevier Co. there is a Margaret Henry 21 years and her daughter Sarah 1 year old living with Rev.John & Jane and their children this Margaret is listed as a sister I believe, she is also a weaver and was born in Missouri in 1840. William and Mary Henry have a daughter born 1840 Missouri living with them in the 1850 Census (she is 10/11 yearsin 1850) for either Sevier/Cocke Co.TN. IF anyone can shed ANY light on this family I would for ever be grateful. This is my biggest wall that keeps staying upright and as all of you hope that someone will come along with just the right info to start the wall to crack.
