Here is ALL of the 1880 MYERS Census Data for Sevier County and it is interesting to note that there was another family with a son by the name of Pleasant who was almost the same age as the son of your James. Notes for James Houston MYERS: The following was taken from "Washington County, Tennessee Death Record Abstracts (1908-1916) "Houston MYERS, born 11 Mar 1847, married, parents: Marian MYERS (Bristol) and Annie (surname illegible, possibly HOSSUnknown) (Bristol), death cause: "motral regugatitis", informant: Byon MYERS, buried:Green Hill Cemeterry, died:2 Oct 1916, record (1916) #: 213.". NOTE: My grandmother had a dresser that she said belonged to her grandmother that had been brought with the family from "Bristol, England". According to my grandmother, Rutha Mae LOUDY BOWMAN BOSWELL, James Houston MYERS came from Bristol Brisco Island, England. Since I have been researching the family history, I have to question this and wonder if this is the case since Marion's death certificate states he was born in Bristol, TN.
