MYERS (seen as MYRES in Census) b. 1839 d. 1894 Sevier Co., TN buried at Little Cove Chapel Cemetery and Margarett Caroline LINDSEY b 1846 Jefferson County, TN d. 1926 Sevier Co., TN. She was the dau of Wm. LINDSEY and Mary Elizabeth ROBERTS; Mary was the dau of Rev. ROBERTS and Elizabeth EMERT; Eliz. dau of Frederick EMERT/EMMERT and Barbara KNIGHT (short ver. of surname) of Emerts Cove, Sevier Co., TN. James and Margaret's son Pleasant A. MYERS and Sara Jane MCCLURE lived in Elkmont area of TN was my gg's. Pleas and Sara's son, Andrew Jackson "Little Andy" MYERS was my great grandfather b. in Little Cove, Sevier County, TN - d. in a Knoxville hospital. He was m. to Hettie Caroline HUSKEY. Both are buried in Sevier. Hettie, dau of Elizabeth "Betty" HUSKEY. She was the dau of Lewis HUSKEY and Hulda T. HATCHER. Hettie's father is a mystery though familylore believes it was Black Bill WALKER short for WALKINGSTICK. Elizabeth Betty HUSKEY was either married or a consort to a WALKER, w/son and grandson named Harve whom I belive is in Pigeon Forge or Sevierville area. If anyone can help me connect, it would be most appreciated. James Napoleon MYERS was the brother to John Alexander MOYERS/MYERS who was m. to Nancy GANN all buried at Little Cove Cemetery.
