William Hardin b. abt 1780 in Fairfax, VA m. Catherine Williams, dau of Thomas 9 Sep 1800 Bedford Co., VA moved to Sevier Co., TN around 1801, I believe. William disappeared sometime 1818-1823, suppose to have been taken by Indians, although this seems a bit late to me. His wife Catherine was b. Baltimore abt 1780 and died after 1845 in Sevier Co., TN. The children: 1. Martin (have no info) 2. Hulda b. 1801 m. Atchley Haggard 1823 d. 1846 - believe he is son of James & Mary Atchley Haggard. 3. Ameila 1803 m. Martin Haggard abt 1823 d. 1847 4. Meridith Right 1805 m. 1825 Clarissa Chanley dau of Wm Chanley and Sarah Prather, d. Freedonia, IN 1859. (family moved to IN 1830, also w/Sarah.) 5. Thomas William b. aby 1806 6.
