Thomas, son of Ollie Jake MYERS Ollie, son of Andrew Jackson "Little Andy" MYERS & Hettie Caroline HUSKEY *NOTE: Old Ollie was married 1st to his 1st cuz Lela/Lula Anna MARINE <--- mystery lady but she's gotta tie into the MARINE line that married into my line. He married 2nd to my maternal grandmother Sara Margaret GARRETT, dau of Thomas Alberry GARRETT & Sara Margaret BRADSHAW of the HUPER ELLER (above paragraph named lines). Little Andy, son of Pleas A. MYERS and Sara Jane MCCLURE (They're mentioned in a book - her mother and aunts had many children w/out marriage ;) They were before they're time god bless um' as they were Cherokee - I have their Dawes Records here which show most were accepted on the Rolls. Pleas, son of James Napoleon MYERS seen as MYRES and Margaret Caroline LINDSEY (ROBERTS/EMERT lines). James is my brickwall. I believe he was Irish and came in from NC. Many say he was raised by Suzannah MOYERS of the BLACKBURN MOYERS WILLOUGHBY line but I beg to differ. Well, I don't beg ... then again.. I would if someone would pass me some records! ;) Damn yankee humor. Little Andy was suppose to be a sheriff in Sevier County. Well, I wrote to the Sheriff's department, nice guys, they sent me a list that I gotta find and put out here, of all the sheriffs ever to be had in Sevier. Funny, but my Little Andy (great grandpop) wasn't on that list. Must have been a self-appointed man. Kidding... I haven't checked Jefferson or Blount County yet... Hettie Caroline HUSKEY was the dau of Elizabeth Betty HUSKEY and a UNKNOWN papa. We known that Betty, as she was known as, was a consort of sorts to John Frank WALKER whom I'm told committed suicide. He was the son of Wm. Marion WALKER and Nancy Louise CAYLOR. John Frank had a son, my great grandmother Hettie's step-brother, Harve L. WALKER. Don't have a clue as to whom his mother was. But I know he had sons Ted, Jim and Bob. I believe that Harve had a son named after him, so... found one buried in Sevier but still haven' tied in paperwise. Sister "Ticy" married John TROTTER and I have 2 children, that I know of, Mary and Elmer. I am told by family that Ticy died young, but where.... maybe Sevier. Elizabeth Betty HUSKEY, dau of Lewis HUSKEY and Hulda T. HATCHER. Hettie had a sister named Ticy and I just assume that Hulda's middle initial stands for Ticy, but of course I'm probably wrong;) Assumptions, speculations... Sisters to Ollie Jake MYERS (children of Little Andy and Hettie HUSKEY) One of my great aunts "Edna" MYERS whom died last year was m. to Ivory THOMAS. Children are Jack, Ruby and/or Ruth. Another great aunt, Lucille, married Ode ADAMS w/2 children: Ruby and Dicy. Iva m. Daniel HURST. She's gone now too. Tate who m. Martha "Mattie" J. TRENTHAM. They had at least 8 children. Martha died in 1934 in Sevier as all did. Jessie M. m. Victor L. "Vic" Elmer MARSHALL Evelyn whos married to English MCCARTER. He is the son of Wm Harrison MCCARTER & Pearlie Jackson STINNETT. They children are: Patricia "Patty", Nancy Caroline, Joseph "Joe" and James "Jim". Georgia, m. to Richard "Dick" MCNABB and they have a son and dau. Richard, son of Manuel MCNABB. And the last, Stella whom I believe died as a young girl. All above live in or near Pigeon Forge, Mill Creek etc. except for some of their children. If anyone knows of my great aunts and uncles, please... by all means, write m. P.S. Not bad for a one hander who's second word these days is OWL!
