Info that I have on Vincent is that his parents are: William Latham born July 10, 1827 and died May 10, 1891 and is buried in the Ellejoy Church Cemetery in Blount County, and William's first wife Zilpha Rogers born Jan 28, 1819 and died April 7 1864 and is also buried at Ellejoy. They were married Sept 4, 1849 in Blount County, TN by John Tipton JP. The 1860 Sevier Co., TN Census show them with 4 children, Mary age 9, Vincent age 8, John age 5, and Elizabeth age 3. Family lore has it that these are our cousins. I have not found a firm link with my GGGGF John Latham of Blount Co. Tenn. and William. John is listed in the 1840 census with the right number of children. Sarah Latham age 20 to 30 had a son who was 10-15 years of age. This was probably William Latham. I don't know of a connection but Sarah was probably married to John's brother and Mary who was 60-70 years old was probably the matriarch of the family. Anyway, hope this helps. Gary L. Harvey
