Fellow TN Researchers: I am sending this simultaneously to the Cocke, Sevier, Washington & Greene Co lists. The following site has just gone online and the index of 1800s sketches of Baptist Ministers shows some born in Washington Co, Sevier (later Hambleton) and Cocke Co. Greene Co doesn't appear to be represented , but I haven't read every bio and the index only has birth places, many not known. http://www.wdbj.net/~tnknox/tnbaptists/index.html It is basically an "Ebook" of "Sketches of Tennessee's Pioneer Baptist Preachers" by J. J. Burnett, 1919. I thought this would be of interest to some of you. FYI, I don't know any of these folks....
