My grandfather's name was Dowe Decauter Christopher. His family was from the Sevier county area. His Father's name was Fate. This could be short for something I'm not really sure. My Grandfather on the Clabough side was Bascombe. His father's name was Archibauld. Are any of these names connected to you?
