Greetings to the list, I am in search of any Gibsons who have a missing link by the name of Samuel Gibson b.1879ish in TN. Below you will find a 1880 Census listing which lead me to your county mailing list. Samuel is my paternal Grandfather. He later married my Grandmother Mary "Mollie" Elizabeth Brown b.1885ish in TN. The only information I have on my Grandparents came from their children's records. For example, I have a June 1909 BC for my Aunt Dorothy Evelyn. This BC shows that she was born in Knoxville, TN. Samuel listed his residence (at that time) as Middlesboro, KY. Work??? Mary listed hers in Knoxville, TN. Samuel, Mary and Dorothy later relocated to Indianapolis where in January 1916 they added my Aunt Violet Maxine to the family. Then, unbelievably, they moved on to Cleveland, OH where in August of 1917 my Father Victor Raymond was born. On my Dad's BC is states that Mary had a total of 5 pregnancies. If my Samuel sounds like he may be part of your Gibson lineage, please contact me!!! Samuel and Mary are my brick wall. I am at a dead stand still with my research.
