(John James) Alexander. He married Mary Elizabeth (Polly) Emert the oldest daughter of Frederick Locke Emert and Nancy McMahan. There was a Thomas Alexander married a Elizabeth Cardwell in 1836. J.J. was living with a Robert Cardwell (Peddler) in Grainger Co in 1850. Also there was an Elizabeth listed, probably J.J.'s mother. Does anyone know of this family?
