>From the Knoxville News Sentinel 1 Jun 2003 HALL, ETHEL BEATRICE - was born February 25, 1924 in Claiborne County, Tenn., and went home to be with the Lord May 31, 2003. She was a resident of Oliver Springs for over fifty years. She was an active member of Beech Park Baptist Church where she attended the Deborah Sunday school class and the Senior Saints of which she enjoyed very much. During her early years in Oliver Springs she worked for Dr. Fred Stone. She enjoyed crocheting outfits and booties for a lot of babies. She will be joining in Heaven her beloved husband, William Emmett Hall; a beloved granddaughter, Sheri Lynn Daugherty; her parents, Charlie and Leona Ray; a brother, Glenn Ray; sister and brother in law, Viola and Leonard Brown; brother in law, C.A. Hall and wife, Polly. Survivors: daughter, Janice Daugherty and husband, Larry of Oliver Springs; sons, Emmett Kelly Hall and wife, Mary of Oliver Springs, Kent Hall and wife, Gale of Sevierville; grandchildren, Ryan Daugherty and wife, Cathy, Suzanne Woodall and husband, Dana, Samantha Farmer all of Oliver Springs, Brad Hall and wife, Kim, Joey Hall and wife, Ashlie of Sevierville; great grandchildren, Austin Woodall, Albany Wodall, Sarah Malia Farmer all of Oliver Springs, Jeremiah Hall, Mikayla Hall of Sevierville; sister, Burbean Greenlee and husband, Roy of Morristown; brother in law, Luke and Dot Hall of Oliver Springs; special friend, Terry Holland of Oliver Springs. Ethel was truly a devoted wife and mother and will be forever remembered. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Beech Park Baptist Church Ministries, 606 Butler Mill Road, Oliver Springs, Tenn. 37840. Funeral services will be held Monday June 2, 2003 at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Leach and Rev. Gary Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Monday between the hours of 5-8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. Burial and graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Oliver Springs Cemetery.
