>From The Knoxville News Sentinel 16 May 2003 PENLAND, ZORA FOX - age 88, of Lenoir City, formerly of Oak Ridge, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2003, at the Parkwest Medical Center. She was a charter member of First Christian Church of Oak Ridge, where she served as church clerk for many years. Zora was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 390; Women's Club Arts and Craft Section; 43 Club; Oak Ridge Republican Club, and a volunteer at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was a former employee of Oak Ridge Post Office; credit manager of Loveman's and Anderson Co. Adjustment Company. She was preceded in death by parents, B. W. and Rachel Melvina Fox; brothers, Leslie and Fred Fox; sister, Anna Ruth Goan; and husband, Henry Earl Penland. Survived by daughter, Patricia Grayson of Lenoir City; grandsons, Mark Grayson of Knoxville, Todd Grayson and wife, Beth of Hendersonville; great-grandchildren, Megan Blank, Rachel and Anna Grayson of Hendersonville, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Mark Gooden officiating.
