Blevins, 86, of Clinton, Kathryn Crawford Ezell, 84, of Oak Ridge, Alice Ruth Ridenour, 80, of Clinton, Clyde Maxwell "Max" Jackson, of Harriman, Leroy Myers, 62, of Oak Ridge, ===================================== Archie B. Blevins, 86, of Clinton, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born Sept. 6, 1916, in Whitetop, Grayson County, Va., he was the son of James and Martha Parker Blevins. In 1954, he and his family moved to Oak Ridge, where he and his wife had three daughters. He retired from the Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant in 1972, after 25 years of service. He was a long-time member of Glenwood Baptist Church. He had a life-long interest in genealogy and began researching his family history in the 1950s. A database of more than 100,000 descendants of his great-grandparents, James and Lydia Sizemore Blevins, has been built on his more than 40 years of research. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Enoch Blevins, Elijah Blevins and Joseph Blevins; and by two sons-in-law, Sam Morrison and Joseph Penland. Mr. Blevins is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irene Davis Blevins; three daughters, Linda Killion and husband, Mike, Carol Morrison and Wanda Olson, and husband, Robert, all of Clinton; five granddaughters, Suzzette Grayson of Clinton, Kim Morrison and Cher Morrison, both of Knoxville, Beth Penland of Atlanta, Ga., and Paige Penland of Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren, Brenden Grayson, Brittny Grayson and Brandi Grayson, all of Clinton; and by a sister, Levon Kasper of Eggleston, Va. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home in the chapel. The burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family requests that any memorials be made to Knox Area Rescue Ministries, 418 N. Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917 or Glenwood Baptist Church Food Cupboard, 200 S. Alabama Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Kathryn Crawford Ezell, 84, of Oak Ridge, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at her home. Born Dec. 3, 1918, in Vandale, Ark., she was the daughter of George M. and Jodie Mae Griffin Crawford, both now deceased. Mrs. Ezell and her husband, Calvin, moved to Oak Ridge in November 1943. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Emilie J. Ezell of Oak Ridge; three sons, Ronald Eugene Ezell and wife, Maria Rosaria, of Simi Valley, Calif., Roger Marion Ezell and wife, Carole, of Maryland, and John Calvin Ezell Jr. and wife, Ida Gaden, of Largo, Fla.; and by five grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2003, at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Sage officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Alice Ruth Ridenour, 80, of Clinton, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born July 16, 1922, in Dandridge, she was the daughter of Rex and Minnie Dockery, both now deceased. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Clinton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Carson Ridenour. Mrs. Ridenour is survived by three daughters, Jacqueline S. Fagan of Crystal River, Fla., Vickie Csurny and husband, John, of Clinton, and Sherri G. Ridenour of Knoxville; two sons, Dr. James C. Ridenour and wife, Susan, of Lexington, Ky., and Ronald H. Ridenour and wife, Linda, of Clinton; four grandchildren, Kara Ridenour, Amy Shepherd and husband, Jason, Chip Ridenour and wife, Donna, David Ridenour and wife, Elizabeth; three great-grandchildren, Andie, Carson and Bennett; and by one brother, Earl Dockery and wife, Myrna, of Ocala, Fla. The family recognizes Mrs. Ridenour's pets, Lucy and Abbie, as special pets. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton, with the Rev. Don Thomas officiating. The family requests that any memorials be made to Memorial United Methodist Church, 323 North Main Street, Clinton, TN 37716, or Children's West Surgery Center, 1020 Children's Way, Knoxville, TN 37922. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Clinton is in charge of arrangements. Clyde Maxwell "Max" Jackson, of Harriman, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Harriman Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, which were incomplete at press time. Leroy Myers, 62, of Oak Ridge, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center.
