    2. >From The Oak Ridger 17 Dec 2003 Terry V. Hudson, 58, of Oak Ridge, Mary Goddard, 68, of Oak Ridge, Kenneth Walter Brock, 75, of Clinton, William W. Lynn, 77, of Clinton, ========================================= Terry V. Hudson, 58, of Oak Ridge, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray C. Hudson, in 1999. Mr. Hudson is survived by his mother, Mary Owen Hudson, of Oak Ridge; his son, Steve Hudson and fiancée, Angie Clem, of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Jackie Hudson, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Jennifer Hudson, of Nashville; and by his brother, Don Hudson and wife, Debbie, of Oak Ridge. A private graveside service will be Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Weatherford Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Mary Goddard, 68, of Oak Ridge, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Ms. Goddard was born May 3, 1935, in Troon, Scotland. She retired from Clinch River Home Health Inc. in Clinton where she worked as a certified nurse assistant. Ms. Goddard is survived by her daughter, Linda Clemens, of Oak Ridge; her son, Paul Goddard, of Campbell County; and by her brother-in-law, Bill Lane, of Clinton. Her family said she will be remembered by many friends. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of arrangements. Kenneth Walter Brock, 75, of Clinton, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Mr. Brock was a member of Greenway Baptist Church. He retired from Lockheed Martin at the Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant, where he was a machinist for approximately 31 years. Mr. Brock was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jan Rose; a son, Larry Ray; his parents, Pate and Bertha Brock Young; three brothers, Willis Brock, Thomas Brock and Edwin Brock; and by two sisters, Evelyn Burke and Demma Stine. Mr. Brock is survived by two daughters, Linda Nichols and husband, Gary, and Kay Phillips and husband, Bobby, all of Clinton; a son, Kenneth Wayne Brock and wife, Deborah, of Clinton; four grandchildren, Anna Marie Risden, Leah Rosenthal, Michael Nichols and Amber Brock; and by nine great-grandchildren, Megan Kay Risden, Macy Marie Risden, Gage Nichols, Tyler Rosenthal, Kyle Rosenthal, Mitchell Rosenthal, Dory Rosenthal, Nathaniel Rosenthal and Emma Rose Brock. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Darrell Griffis officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. William W. Lynn, 77, of Clinton, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at his home. Mr. Lynn was a member of Valley View United Methodist Church for 49 years. He was a member of the Alpha Sonic Lodge No. 376. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wesley Lynn Sr. and Ollie Virginia Lynn; two brothers, Marion Lynn and Herman Lynn; and by a sister, Helen Lynn. Mr. Lynn is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Volrath Lynn; his son, Richard Lynn and wife, Diann, of Clinton; two daughters, Nancy Murphy and husband, Amon, of Clinton, and Kathy Vaughn and husband, Eddie, of Lenoir City; five grandchildren, Bryan Rigney and wife, Amy, of Powell, Wesley Lynn and wife, Rebecca, and Leslea Lynn, all of Clinton, and Sarah Vaughn and Travis Vaughn, both of Lenoir City; his great-grandson, Alex Lynn, of Clinton; a sister, Ruth Greenaway, of Geneva, Ill.; and by several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Pat Bishop officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. The family requests that any memorials be in the form of contributions to Valley View United Methodist Church, 815 Old Edgemore Lane, Clinton, TN 37716.
