>From The Knoxville News Sentinel 26 Dec 2004 BROWN, LARRY - BROWN, LARRY - of Knoxville, son of the late Charles R. Brown and Cleo C. Wilson in Washington, DC Larry gave his heart to the Lord in November 1973. Rev. Dozier McKinnon baptized him at the True Light Baptist Church in Solway, TN. At the age of four, Larry and his family moved from Washington, DC to Lake City, TN. Larry graduated from Clinton High School and then received both Chef and Barber licenses. Larry also served his country in the Vietnam War. Larry leaves to mourn his passing: six siblings, Anna Twitty, twin sister Loretta Jones, Michael Wilson, and Anthony Wilson, Ellen Toy, and Kaye Wilson. Larry also leaves to cherish his memory; 3 grandsons; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, one great nephew, devoted friends Jamie and Natasha Murphy and also his special friend, Christine. Family will receive friends, 3:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday at Jarnigan's Chapel, funeral service 3:30. Rev. J. Ellis McCleary officiating. Interment 9:30 a.m. Monday, Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery.
