She was a member of Grove City Baptist Church in Knoxville. Preceded in death by parents, Arnold Sanford and Texas Jane Powers Nelson; son, Jack L. Clark; daughter, Barbara Ann Towle. She was born February 5, 1915 in Roane County. Survivors: daughters, Patricia Ogle of Knoxville and Elizabeth Lewis of Claxton; son, Michael Clark of Lake City; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will have a memorial service at a later date. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements. MACRES, LILLIAN - age 78, of Clinton, passed away Monday, December 1, 2003 at Methodist Medical Center. Preceded in death by parents, George and Verna Edmondson Macres. Born January 1, 1925 in Knox County. Survivors: Special Friend: Ann Campbell of Clinton; Brother: James and wife Mearl Macres of Knoxville; Nieces: Gretchen and Julian Morrison of Clinton, Carol and husband Johnny Baxter of Clinton, Mary Jane and husband Raymond Baker of Franklin; Georgia and husband Pat McNabb of Greenville, SC.
