CHARLES EVERETTE - age 87 of LaFollette, HILL, ADA MAE - age 68, of LaFollette, LYNN, WILLIAM W. - age 77, of Clinton, ========================================= BROCK, KENNETH WALTER - age 75 of Clinton, passed away Monday, December 15, 2003 at Methodist Medical Center. He was a member of Greenway Baptist Church. Retired from Lockheed Martin Y-12 in Oak Ridge as a machinist for approximately 31 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. Preceded in death by wife, Jan Rose; son, Larry Ray; parents, Pate & Bertha Brock Young; brothers, Willis, Thomas & Edwin Brock; sisters, Evelyn Burke & Demma Stine. Survivors: daughters, Linda Nichols & husband, Gary of Clinton, Kay Phillips & husband, Bobby of Clinton; son, Kenneth Wayne Brock & wife, Deborah of Clinton; grandchildren, Anna Marie Risden, Leah Rosenthal, Michael Nichols & Amber Brock; great grandchildren, Megan Kay Risden, Macy Marie Risden, Gage Nichols, Tyler Rosenthal, Kyle Rosenthal, Mitchell Rosenthal, Dory Rosenthal, Nathaniel Rosenthal & Emma Rose Brock. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Darrell Griffis officiating. COOPER, WILLIAM "BILL" - age 72 of LaFollette passed away Monday, December 15, 2003 at his home. He was a member and Deacon and Choir Leader of Grantsboro Baptist Church. Mr. Cooper was a loving husband of 56 years, father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also was a very devoted Christian who enjoyed singing about the Lord. He was preceded in death by: parents, William Paris and Sarah Grant Cooper; brothers, Kermit, Clifford, James, Roscoe Copper; sisters, Phyliss Landrum and Ruth Cook. Mr. Cooper is survived by: wife, Emma Jean Cooper of LaFollette; son, William Larry Cooper of FL; son and daughter-in-law, Teddy Ray and Marilyn Cooper of Knoxville; grandchildren and spouses, Michelle and Scott Martin of Lake City, Chris and Tina Cooper of Jacksboro; Lori and Jeff Dunn of Knoxville, Billy Cooper of Claxton; great grandchildren, Zach and Eric Cooper of Jacksboro, Cheyenne Martin of Lake City; brothers, Vaughn Cooper of Corryton, TN, Raymond and Don Cooper both of LaFollette; sister, Delsi Dagley of LaFollette; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 17 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Hunley and Brother Jerry Dagley officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Grantsboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday before funeral services. Martin Wilson Funeral Home is in charge FORD, MR. CHARLES EVERETTE - age 87 of LaFollette, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2003. He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church where he served in several offices. He was a fifty-six year member of LaFollette Masonic Lodge ##623 F & A.M. where he was Past Master and served as Chaplain for several years. He was a Board Member and volunteer for the Salvation Army. Preceded in death by: parents, Frank and Bertha Lindsay Ford; sister, Geneva Sharp; and brothers Luther and Winfred Ford. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Martha Ford; daughter and son- in-law, Ann and Terry Cobb of Hendersonville; step granddaughter, Teri-lee and husband Evan James of Knoxville; sisters, Lorene Henegar and Juanita Miller; and brothers, Ulysses Ford and Willard Ford. Funeral services Thursday, 8 p.m. at Walters Chapel with Rev. James Mullens officiating. Interment Friday 10 a.m. at Campbell Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: parents, Billy and Rushia (White) Hill; brothers, Elmer and Lawrence Hill; and sister, Florence Hill. LYNN, WILLIAM W. - age 77, of Clinton, passed away Monday, December 15, 2003 at his residence. He was a member of Valley View United Methodist Church for 49 years. Member of the Alpha Sonic Lodge ##376. Preceded in death by: parents, William Wesley Lynn Sr. & Ollie Virginia Lynn; brothers, Marion & Herman Lynn; sister, Helen Lynn. Survivors: wife of 54 years, Betty Volrath Lynn of Clinton; son, Richard Lynn & wife Diann of Clinton; daughters, Nancy Murphy & husband Amon of Clinton, Kathy Vaughn & husband Eddie of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Bryan Rigney & wife Amy of Powell, Wesley Lynn & wife Rebecca of Clinton, Leslea Lynn of Clinton, Sarah & Travis Vaughn of Lenoir City; great grandson, Alex Lynn of Clinton; sister, Ruth Greenaway of Geneva, Ill.; several nieces & nephews.
