>From The Knoxville News Sentinel 21 Aug 2003 VANNOY, JAMES BRADFORD - age 59, of Lake City, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a member of Island Home Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Powell Valley High School. He was on the Board of Directors for the Anderson County Co-Op and the Anderson County Soil Conservation Board. He had worked for 30 years as a dairy farmer and in later years, boarded horses on his farm. Brad was born January 20, 1944 in Claiborne County. Preceded in death by father, James H. Vannoy. Survivors: wife, Glenia Brooks Vannoy of Lake City; daughter, Amanda Evans & husband, Neil of Clinton; son, Kelly Vannoy & very special friend, Amanda Rodriguez of Chattanooga; mother, Irene Vannoy Graham of Gainsville, VA; sisters, Sandra Lowry & husband, Charles of Gainsville, VA, Brenda Todd & husband, Barry of Nokesville, VA; brother, John M. Vannoy & wife, Carolyn of Bessmer City, NC; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2003 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral service following the visitation at 8:00 p.m., in the chapel with Rev. Calvin Braden officiating. Interment will be held 10:00 am, Friday at Norris Memorial Gardens.
