JOHNNIE F. - age 79 of Lancing, MYERS, JANET BRYSON - age 46, of Knoxville, WOODS, JEANNE BEYERSDORF -age 85, of Oliver Springs, ============================================ HARNESS, ERIC AUTMAN - age 17, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was an upcoming senior at Clinton High School where he was on the football team. He was a member of Lake City Christian Fellowship Church. Eric was born October 15, 1985 in Oak Ridge. Survivors: mother, Ruth Harness of Clinton & fiancée, Bobby Greenlee of Morristown; father, Dana Autman Harness of Lake City; sisters, Sonya Harvey of Clemmons, NC, Vanessa Loredo of Clinton; grandmother, Adele Harness of Lake City; great- grandmother, Ellen Parks of Briceville; many special friends and relatives. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2003 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with funeral service following at 8:00 p.m., with Pastor Justin Phillips officiating. JOHNNIE F. - age 79 of Lancing, passed away Friday, August 8, 2003 in Fort Sanders Parkwest Hospital. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 39 years, Ruth Headrick Kreis, eight children, eight of his grandchildren, four daughters-in-law, his son-in-law, three brothers and his sister, along with a host of other loved ones. Johnnie was born December 30, 1923 in Morgan County. He was a life-long member of St. Paul's Luthern Church in Wartburg. He was a farmer for most of his life. He served his country with valor during World War II and raised a large loving family in the Lancing community. He was active in the farming community and loved sitting on his front porch enjoying life. Johnnie is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Louis (LE) and wife Betty Sue, Brenda Watters and husband, Jack, Johnnie Ray and wife, Sharon, Betty Ann, Richard and wife, Becky, Tina Trammell, Timmy and wife, Donna, Tammy Gibson and husband, Keith; eighteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five brothers; one sister and a host of nieces and nephews and other special ones. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, August 9, 2003 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, 4 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert Pfaff officiating. Interment will follow in the Wartburg City Cemetery. MYERS, JANET BRYSON - age 46, of Knoxville, died suddenly at her home on Wednesday, August 6, 2003. She was a devout life long Christian. She graduated from Clinton High School, Walters State College and L.P.N. School. She worked at Children's Hospital for 7 years, then was a stay-at-home mom. Recently, she had resumed work at Hillcrest Nursing Home. She said "I am on a mission and I love all of the old people there." Compassion and kindness were part of who she was. She was very beloved to all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Bryson Blair, who was a lawyer and director of A.D.A. for Knox County. Survivors: husband, Reverend Jim Myers; son, James Lloyd (Jay) Myers; parents, Lloyd and Pat (Nana) Bryson of Claxton; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Kelly Kirby and their children, Melissa, John and Michael of London, KY; sister and brother-in-law, Lee and Dennis McGetrick and her son Austin Stepp of New York and Blount County; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Pat Penland of Dawsonville, GA; special niece, Bryson Blain of Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Janet's favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis. Funeral service will be at 8:00 P.M., Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Eddie Sawy er and Reverend Eddie Myers officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, and proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for interment service at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home. WOODS, JEANNE BEYERSDORF -age 85, of Oliver Springs, died Friday, August 8, 2003 at the Methodist Medical Center. Survived by: daughter, Rebecca Woods of Oliver Springs; brothers, Louis Beyersdorf and his wife Wanda of Trumann, Arkansas and Harry Beyersdorf and his wife Jo of Bossier City, LA and; her pet poodle, Muffin. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2003 at 8:00pm at Weatherford Mortuary with Pastor Robert May officiating. Graveside services are Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
