Paul, ============================================ Eric Autman Harness, 17, of Clinton, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born Oct. 15, 1985, in Oak Ridge, he was the son of Ruth Harness of Clinton and Dana Autman Harness of Lake City. Mr. Harness was a rising senior at Clinton High School, where he was on the football team. He was a member of Lake City Christian Fellowship Church. In addition to his parents and his mother's fiancee, Bobby Greenlee of Morristown, Mr. Harness is survived by two sisters, Sonya Harvey of Clemmons, N.C., and Vanessa Loredo of Clinton; a grandmother, Adele Harness of Lake City; a great-grandmother, Ellen Parks of Briceville; and by many other relatives. His family said he will be remembered by many special friends. The funeral was Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with the Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. The family requests that any memorials be in the form of contributions to Lake City Christian Fellowship Church, P.O. Box 939, Lake City, TN 37769. Jeanne Beyersdorf Woods, 85, of Oliver Springs, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born March 16, 1918, in Bay, Ark., she was the daughter of Eugene and Lula Beyersdorf, both now deceased. Mrs. Woods left Bay in 1943 and moved to Oak Ridge. She worked for 30 years as a school bus driver with the Oak Ridge School system and her family said she was an excellent seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emit Lee Woods on Nov. 5, 1985, and a son, Ricky Woods in April 1975. Mrs. Woods is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Woods of Oliver Springs; two brothers, Louis Beyersdorf and wife, Wanda, of Trumann, Ark., and Harry Beyersdorf and wife, Jo, of Bossier City, La.; and by her poodle, Muffin. The funeral was Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at Weatherford Mortuary with the Rev. Robert May officiating. A graveside service was Sunday, Aug. 10, at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Geneva Elizabeth Bray, 76, of Wartburg, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lula Maxwell; her husband, Clyde Bray; a son, Anthony Bray; two brothers, Hollis Maxwell and Coleman Maxwell; a sister, Lucy Fink; and by a son-in-law, Charlie Harbison. Mrs. Bray is survived by her children, Wayne Bray and wife, JoAnne, Steve Bray and wife, Michelle, Wanda Nyberg and husband, Barry, all of Wartburg, Kenneth Bray and wife, Jean, of Oakdale, and Rhonda Faye Harbison of Oak Ridge; seven grandchildren, Eddie Nyberg, Kelly Johnson, Kenny Bray, Keith Bray, David Bray, Alexis Bray and Anthony Bray; 10 great-grandchildren, Kyle McCoig, Daniel McCoig, David James Nyberg, Michael Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Sarah Bray, Emily Bray, Nicholas Bray, Kylee Bray and Grace Bray; two brothers, Alton Maxwell and Willard Maxwell; and by two sisters, Dorothy Freels and Maryland Daniels. The funeral was Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with David Barkley officiating. A graveside service was to be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at Morgan Memorial Carl K. Krajewski, 47, of Oak Ridge, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at his home. Born Feb. 24, 1956, in South Bend, Ind., he was the son of Alex and Aline Krajewski, both now deceased. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1980 to 1984 as a computer technician. Mr. Krajewski is survived by his wife of 16 years, Tiwana Krajewski; an aunt, Kizzie Teasley of Sugar Grove Community; and by several aunts, uncles and cousins. His family said he will be remembered by his best friend, Barry Hall of Michigan. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with the Rev. Steve McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at Weatherford Ida Meyerson Coveyou, 82, of Oak Ridge, died Thursday, May 29, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born Oct. 19, 1920, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of Joseph and Rena Meyerson, both deceased. On Sept. 25, 1943, she married Robert Coveyou and they came to Oak Ridge shortly thereafter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1996. Mrs. Coveyou is survived by her son, Michael Coveyou and wife, Carolyn, of Des Moines, Iowa; her brother, Seymour Meyerson and wife, Lotte, of Asheville, N.C.; and by her sister, Sarah Houghton and husband, Harold, of Richmond, Calif. She is also survived by three nieces, Sheella Mierson and husband, Howard Stanfield, of Newark, Del., Elana Kann of Asheville, and Joy Weiner and husband, Jack, of Centreville, Va.; two nephews Oliver Houghton of Fremont, Calif., and Darryl Houghton of Boulder, Colo.; and by two grandnephews and one grandniece. Diantha Pare, Aase Brynestad, Caryl Kaplan, Peter Luippold, Alta Hicks, Kit Kuperstock, Lavada Chisholm, Bettie and the late Henri Levy, Eleanor and Roger Clark, and Don and Janice Reynolds, are all considered special friends, several of whom her family said helped her in recent years. The body was donated to the Anatomical Bequest Program of the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The family requests that any memorials be in the form of contributions to the Sallie McCaskill Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Diantha Pare, 117 Wendover Circle, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at the Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church at 1500 Oak Ridge Turnpike with the Rev. Priscilla Richter officiating. Lenore L. Chadwick, 87, of Clinton died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003 at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center. Mrs. Chadwick was a longtime resident of Clinton and dedicated many hours to Habitat for Humanity, the Clinton Library and tutored children in Clinton public schools. According to her family her varied interests were sewing, needlework, swimming, reading, and duplicate bridge. Mrs. Chadwick was preceded in death by her husband, Chester B. Chadwick. She is survived by her son, Richard A. Chadwick of Estill Springs; three daughters, Carol Zitzow of Signal Mountain, Mary Sue Sutton of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Kathyrn Chadwick of Clinton; and by seven grandsons, one granddaughter and two great-grandsons. The family requests that any memorials may be in the form of contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church, 705 Wilson Ave., Tullahoma, TN 37388, where she was a charter member, or to the Clinton Public Library, 118 S. Hicks St., Clinton, TN 37716. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at Grace Lutheran Church, 131 W. Gettysburg Ave. Cremation Options Inc. in Knoxville is in charge of arrangements. Carl M. Neff, 74, of Powell died Saturday, Aug. 9,2003, after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his family. Mr. Neff was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Powell. He was a retired employee of the Y-12 Plant, where he worked as a chemist and supervisor for 44 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie. Mr. Neff is survived by his daughters, Vickie Smith and Linda Malin; son-in-law, Buddy Malin; a brother, Wayne Neff and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Jason Smith, Adam Malin, Savannah Malin and Aaron Malin; and by several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11,2003, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel in Knoxville. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the W. Adair entrance to Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. burial. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Elinor Kathleen Pegel Jr., 47, of Jamestown died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Born in Alliance, Ohio, she was the daughter of William Robert Pegel Sr. and Elinor Kathleen Grace Pegel. Miss Pegel lived many years in Florida. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by Carl Pegel, Jr. and Donald Mitchell. In addition to her mother, Miss Pegel is survived by her siblings Carl Pegel, Cheryl Price, Tinia Antone, John Pegel, Mary Tate, Teresa Mitchell, William Robert Pegel Jr., Margaret Diaz, Anthony Pegel, Joseph Pegel and James Pegel; a niece and nephew, James and Grace Mitchell, whom she considered special; and by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be at a later date at St. Mary's Catholic Church. A private service will be in Florida at a later date. Cremation Options, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Linda Lou Cobb, 60, of Lancing died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born May 18, 1943, in Clarke County, Ga., she was the daughter of Clifford and Bessie Bowen Davis, both now deceased. Mrs. Cobb came to this area from Watkinsville, Ga., in April 2000. She worked as a beautician at Smart Styles in Oak Ridge and was of a Baptist. According to her family, she enjoyed painting ceramics. Mrs. Cobb is survived by husband, Ted E. Cobb; sons, Daryl Cobb and wife, Jennifer, of Lancing, and Freddie Cobb and wife, Kelly, and Tedd E. Cobb Jr., all of Wartburg; and by a daughter, Teresa Morgan and husband, Steve, of Covington, Ga. She is also survived by sisters, Lucille Bowen, of Athens, Ga., and Dessie Davis, of Oregon; five grandchildren, Zachary Cobb, Mary Morgan, Tabitha Hogan, Sabrina Morgan and Pete Morgan; one great-grandchild, Christopher Morgan; and by several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary with the Rev. Steve McDonald officiating. Katie Dripps, 52, of Oliver Springs died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
