I just want to get this OT THERE: Hi All, My Jones are from Morgan County and Knox County, Tennessee, as far as I know, because I cannot go back very far so they cold have originated in other counties. I am specifically looking for WILLIAM HOUSTON JONES' father. He was born out of wedlock and his father was an unknown HOWARD. He was born April 15, 1873. His mother was MARGARET JONES, born 1849. He was raised by his grandparents, WILLIAM JONES (1821-1903) and MARTHA PATSY ??? (1823-1905) He married NANCY ANN HOWARD on August 13, 1889 in Morgan County, Tennessee. His second wife was MARY LOUISE HALL (1891-1976). He died in Morgan County, Tennessee on January 7, 1940 and is buried in Roseberry Cemetery in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee. Ring any bells?
