Thank you Dixie, I have the death certificate, however, I cannot read the Coroners signature. I have also been this route, yet to no avail. It has been so long ago, and so many places only keep records up to seven years. I would be really happy to find an Obituary. So far, I haven't had any luck there either. The one thing I do know, and that is, that Dad was in the city just a few shorts hours before they found him. He was taken to the Hospital, where he died just a short time later. It is on record, that noone knew who he was at that time. He was found on the street. You are telling me that you will call and see if there is any information they will give. Now, may I please ask you, why would they release such info., to you and not to me? I am his daughter, and have been told over and over, that it is against the Privacy Act. I do not understand this. Then again, I am new at all of this research, and not at all sure exactly about all the resources available. Just the same, thank you for your time, and offer to help. It is appreciated.
