Healthcare in Oak Ridge, TN. He was born in Edgefield, SC to Henry and Lillian Bethea. A member of Church Street United Methodist Church and the achievement Sunday School class. He was retired from Union Carbide, Y-12, in Oak Ridge, after thirty-one years as an Industrial Engineer. Mr. Bethea was also a life member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Hilda Norton Bethea; daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Ralph Horn of Chattanooga; granddaughters, Emily Horn of Chicago, Rachel Horn of Chattanooga; sisters, Mildred Harmon of Greeneville, TN, Elizabeth Veach of Charleston, SC, Eleanor Williams of San Diego, CA, and Estelle Edwards of Mesa, AZ; sister-in-law, Dorothy Norton of Charlotte, NC; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2003 at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Reverend Cabel Trent, Rev. William J. Fowler and Reverend Jan Buxton-Wade officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, P. O. BOUDREAUX, EARLIS JOSEPH " E.J." - age 59, of Clinton, passed away peacefully at his home, Tuesday, July 15, 2003. E.J. had fought a courageous battle with cancer. E.J. was born August 25, 1943 in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He lived his adult life in the Claxton community. He loved camping, cooking Cajun food, his antique cars & mostly spending time with his family. Survivors: loving wife, Sharon Boudreaux of Clinton; children, Joe Boudreaux & wife, Tina of Claxton, Angel Boudreaux of Knoxville, Tracy Wandell & wife, Shannon of Claxton, Shawn Wandell & wife, Donntay of Soddy Daisy, Shari Bryant & husband, Rocky of Claxton; mother, Molly Boudreaux of Louisiana; brothers, Ashby Boudreaux & wife, Margie of McCullough, AL, Thorne Boudreaux & wife, Rhonda of McCullough, AL; sisters, Shirlene Cunningham of Slidell, LA, Vallie Winnett & husband, David of Bell Buckle, Violet Brownlee & husband, Wayne of Arkansas; precious grandchildren, Michael, Amber, Matthew, Mitchell, Jason, Paige, Michael, Samantha, Josiah, Zion, Kelley, Sydnee, Sam, Cana, Trevor & Trace; several nephews, nieces, dear friends, neighbors & co-workers. He was born February 12, 1934, to parents Elijah D. and Bertha Freehafer Saxton in Flint, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Shirley Cate Saxton and mother-in-law, Billie Mae Cate of the home; sister June B. Wiers of Flint, MI; sister and brother-in-law Cheryl and Jack Carroll of Clarksville, TN.; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Wayne and Tammy Saxton of Chattanooga, Patrick and Karen Hill of Lake City, Michael and Cynthia Hill of Clinton; daughter Angela M. Saxton of Albuquerque, NM; daughters and sons-in-law Jacquelyn K. and Lewis Seiber of Oliver Springs; Vicki C. and Kevin Brown of Knoxville; daughter, Cathryn L. Norton of Knoxville; grandchildren Heather Saxton, Fayetteville, NC, Kelly and Kayla Saxton of Chattanooga; Kenan and Ian Saxton, Albuquerque; Jarod L. Correll, Oak Ridge; Deanna Ely, Zachary Brown, Tristin Brown, and Nathan Brown, Knoxville; Sara Hill, Clinton; Steve Hill, Lake City, Emily Hill, Clinton; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Second Baptist Church, 901 Fowler Street, Clinton, TN, with Dusty Irwin officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m. followed by the service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made in Mr. Saxton's name to the Knox Area Rescue Ministries, P. O.
