HUSTON JONES - age 75, of Robbins, ============================================ JOHNSON, CARL SMITH - age 57 of Jacksboro, passed away Thursday, July 10, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, Holyoke, Mass. Mr. Johnson was Plant Supervisor of a paper plant. Survivors: wife, Christine Johnson, Jacksboro; sons, Keith Johnson and wife, Kim, Charleston, SC, Brian Johnson, Springfield, Mass.; daughters and sons in law,, Melissa and J.R. Patton, Marion, Ark., Melinda and Phil Singletary, Charleston, SC; step children, James Martin, Erin and husband, Steve Duchesne, all of Springfield, Mass.; parents, Frank and Pauline Johnson, LaFollette; 8 grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Brousseau, LaFollette, Carol Cote, Lakeland, Fla., Sue McNabb, Holyoke, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday, July 14, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Pastor Thorpe and Rev. Leroy Braden officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday July 13, Cross Funeral Home. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home. LEWALLEN, MR. HUSTON JONES - age 75, of Robbins, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Mr. Lewallen was born on July 15, 1927 to the late Raymond and Pearl Conaster Lewallen in Glenmary, TN. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Robbins where he faithfully served as Chairman of the Trustees and Sunday School Teacher of the Adult Class, a United States Army Veteran, a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner, and President of the Scott County Tennessee Antique Classic Car Club. He retired after 39 years of service with Norfolk Southern Railway. He is survived by his loving wife, Dereda Marie Young Lewallen; two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Robbie Gray of Spring City, Tenn., Kathy and Allen Phillips of Helenwood, Tenn.; one son and daughter-in-law, R.G. and Sherry Laxton Lewallen of Knoxville, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Ashlee Phillips, Ernie Gray, Erika Phillips, Grant Lewallen, Stephanie Lewallen, and Melanie Phillips; and Many friends and relatives. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2003 at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 14th at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Robbins. Mike Smithers and Hubert Terry will be officiating. Interment will follow in Crossroads Cemetery, West Robbins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church, Robbins, Tenn.
