>From The Knoxville News Sentinel 23 Jul 2003 LEDFORD, BETTY LYNN - age 59, of Knoxville, formerly of LaFollette, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2003 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. She was an employee of Levi Strauss for 30 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Carl (Babe) and Effie Lee (Goins) Ledford. She is survived by brothers, Jimmy and wife, Sue Ann Ledford and Wade Ledford of LaFollette; sisters and husband, Linda Hinch of LaFollette, Kathy and Harry Lee Brown of LaFollette, Shirley and Jimmy Guider of Ft. Myers, Florida; two very special grand-nephews; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Cross Funeral Home, Rev. James Adkins and Rev. Thomas Adkins officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Bakers Forge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the funeral service.
