Ruthaford, 91 died Friday, July 11, 2003 at Fair Haven Shelby County Home. She was born September 18, 1911 in Williamsburg, KY. She is the daughter of the late Bob and Jane (Walters) Meadors. She was married July 25, 1932 to Aaron Ruthaford who died March 18, 1977. She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one brother and two sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Hazel) LaPointe, Sidney, OH, and Mrs. Allen (Wanda) Huddleston, Anna, OH; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one brother Truman Meadors, LaFollette.The funeral was Wednesday, July 16 at Cromes Funeral with Rev. (Bob) McCulley, 64 of Jacksboro, formerly of Oak Ridge, died Wednesday July 9, 2003 at St. Mary's of Campbell County. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Oak Ridge. He was retired after 20 years from the U. S. Air force and then worked as an Insurance Agent. He loved woodworking. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Lillie Dail McCulley and a brother, Carl (Buck) McCulley. He was a member of the Cumberland View Baptist Church. Mr. McCormick was a coalminer for 34 years. he was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Maggie Brady McCormick; brother, Henry and Steve Douglas McCormick; sisters, Ruthy McCormick and Mary Mae Fradey. Stanley "Steve" Kennedy, 70, Briceville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born September 16, 1932 in Campbell County to the late Richard and Bessie Daugherty Kennedy. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Bessie Daugherty Kennedy; brothers, Matt and Hoye Kennedy; sister, Martha Seiber. Reba Jones Claiborne, 78 of Jacksboro died July 12, 2003 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. Reba attended Tennessee Tech and worked during WWII for Clinton Engineering in Oak Ridge before her marriage and moved to LaFollette. She was a member of LaFollette First Baptist Church and will be remember as a devoted wife, loving and generous mother and grandmother, and a thoughtful Christian. The family would like to acknowledge their deep and abiding affection for her brother-in-law John H. Claiborne and wife Lucille for their many years of devoted friendship and assistance. They also would like to thank Dr. Wahid Hanna, Dr. Judith Kinzy, and a special staff of the sixth floor of the U.T. Hospital for their vigilant efforts and compassionate care. He was a member of the Masonic Laurel Lodge Number 104, Danese, West Virginia and a member of the Friendly Valley Baptist Church on Stinking Creek. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Gaylor Broyles; mother, Nannie Reynolds Broyles; father, Winston Broyles and brother Curtis L. Broyles.
