She was preceded in death by father, Eugene McKinney. An employee of Scott Gross Co. in Lexington. Survivors: son, Gary Hart; grandson, Daniel Hart, both of Lexington, Ky.; mother, Glenna Walls McKinney of Caryvlle; brother, Shirley McKinney of Dayton, Ohio. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Caryville First Baptist Church, Dr. T. D. Hooker officiating. Interment in Campbell Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Lucille Markey Cancer Center, both in Lexington, Ky. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Cross Funeral Home. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home. REED, LEONA HATMAKER - age 86, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2003, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was a faithful member of Longfield Baptist Church in Lake City. She was also a member of the Keen Club & the AARP. She retired from the restaurant business. Preceded in death by first husband, Clayton P. Hatmaker; second husband, Virgil Lee Reed; parents, Lavader and Katherine Hatmaker Loving; brothers, Ivan Xin Loving and John Loving; sister, Beatrice Hill; step-daughter, Lola Faye Huggins. Mrs. Reed was born October 8, 1916, in Anderson County. Survivors: daughters, Katherine Miller & husband, Chuck of Clinton, Patsy Daugherty & husband, Jimmy of Georgia; sons, Gary Hatmaker & wife, Faye of Lake City, Gene Hatmaker & wife, Kathy of Clinton; step-daughter, Mildred Silcox & husband, Charles of Maryville; sisters, Mable Vinsant of Lake City, Christine Symth of Oliver Springs; grandchildren, Randy Miller & wife, Tracie, Roger Miller, Ricky Miller & wife, Darlene, Ronnie Miller & wife, Wendy, Tommy Daugherty & wife, Kinda, Timmy Daugherty & wife, Stacey, Eddie Daugherty, Kim Leach & husband, Robby, Kerry Hatmaker & wife, Candi, Melanie Bumgardner & husband, Tony; 19 great grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-great- grandchildren; a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2003 at Longfield Baptist Church in Lake City with funeral service following the visitation at the church with Rev. Mack Smith, Rev. Robbie Leach & Rev. Ricky Miller officiating. Interment will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
