Walker, Betty�Age 83, of Winfield, passed away in the Scott County Hospital Monday, December 13. She was the daughter of the late Mart Trammell and the late Rosa Trammell and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors: husband, Lawrence Walker of Winfield; two sons, Oscar Wilson of Tiffin, Ohio, and Alfred Wilson of Winfield; four daughters, Rose W. Hill of Norfolk, VA, Lora W. Kinch of Orlando, Fla., Dorothy W. Hussar of Dayton, Ohio and Nola W. Bond of Newport News, VA; one daughter, Mae Wilson Connley, preceded her in death. Also surviving are a sister Bertha Chitwood of Winfield, nineteen grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from the West Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 16, with Rev. Albert Chitwood and Rev. A.V. Stanley officiating. Burial was in the Trammell Cemetery. Born July 20, 1905 in Scott County Tennessee to the late Joseph and Bell Woodrum Walker. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife Betty Trammel Walker; one step daughter Lora Wilson, one step son Afford Wilson; 6 sisters, Grace, Nora, Martha, Elsie, Ada, and Maxine; three brothers Leonard, Elm on and Homer. Surviving is one sister, Erna; four step daughters, Rose, Dorothy, May and Nola; one step son Oscar. Funeral services were March 25, 1992 at the Jones & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Delmon Stanley and Rev. Carmel Stanley officiating. Interment followed in the Trammel Cemetery. Rosemary: The other 2 are not listed in WUA and I have copies of all of them, I checked the 1929 Newspaper also, and there is not one listed for Isaac Trammell, but I did find this one in the Scott County News: Sharp, Rosa, wife of Calvin Sharp, died at the home of her son-in-law, Edd Chitwood near Winfield on January 21 at the age of 76. She was the daughter of Dock Duncan and Sallie Chitwood Duncan. She was one of a family of six, three sons and three daughters. In her youth she was married to the late J. M. Tramell, to which union were born eight children, three sons and five daughters: Rebecca Smith, Dock Tramell, Marion Tramell, Henry Trammell, Bettie Walker, Bertha Chitwood, all of Winfield and Sallie Duncan of Wonder, Ky. She was a splendid woman, having become a Christian in early life and had a large number of friends. She is survived by her husband, eight children, one sister, 82 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services were conducted by Revs. B. D. Chitwood and George King. Interment was in the Chitwood cemetery near Winfield with Coopers in charge.
