TURNER, WALTER E. - age 80, of Clinton, ============================================ KENNEDY, BETTY G. - age 77, of South Knoxville, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2003, at Baptist Hospital. She was a member of Meridian Baptist Church. Retired from Bell South and belonged to the Pioneers. Preceded in death by husband, James Kennedy, and parents, Lee and Mattie Giffin. She is survived by her sister, Mayme Cagle; sister-in-law, Zola Giffin; nieces and nephews, Mildred Lamberson, Martha Ross, Barbara Pruett, Patricia Sheckles, Jimmy Giffin, John Giffin, David and Ella Giffin, Jack and Brenda Jordan, all of Knoxville, Betty Phillips of Kentucky, Wanda Vickers of Memphis, Sue Giffin of Atlanta, Yvonne Starr of Florida, and Eddie and Diane Jordan of Greenville, Tenn.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in- law, Luther and Ann Kennedy, Mike Kennedy, all of Knoxville, Marvin Kennedy of Georgia, and John Childress of Ohio. Family and friends will assemble for interment Monday, September 8, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at Meridian Cemetery, with Rev. Dana Fachman and Rev. He enjoyed playing his guitar for his family and friends, and riding his Harley Davidson Motor Cycle. Preceded in death by his father, Rufus Moneymaker and grandparents, Wylie and Hilda Moneymaker, and Claude and Garnet West. Survivors: wife, Jo Ann Moneymaker of Claxton; children, Candace and Dustin Moneymaker, Morgan and Shelby Baker; mother, Alma Moneymaker of Claxton, Tenn.; brother, Steve Moneymaker of Claxton, Tenn.; uncles, David West, Jimmy Moneymaker, Ralph Moneymaker, and Ross Fraker; aunts, Faye West, Jean Fraker, Faye Moneymaker, Jerry Moneymaker, Hazel Self, and Ruth Moneymaker; father and mother-in-law, Stoney and Ruby Young of Knoxville, Tenn.; brothers-in-law, Clyde and Steven Young, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; several cousins, and God Daughters, Loni Kinzalow and Ashley Metcalf. He will live forever in our hearts and be deeply missed by his family of brothers and sisters of Vendetta's Motor Cycle Club in Knoxville. May he live on and ride free in Harley Heaven.
