She was a retired clerk for Town Talk Superette in South Clinton. Preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Engle. Survivors: daughters, Paula Gibson & husband, Ted of Symona, TN, Pamela Gacioch & husband, Doug of Livonia, MI. sons, Douglas Engle & wife, Glenna of Clinton, Danny Saenz of Shelby Township, MI, Paul Engle & wife, Susie of Clinton; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Hunter of Shelby Township, MI; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2003 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral service following the visitation at 8:00 p.m., in the chapel with Rev. HUTCHENS, GERTRUDE HUSKEY - age 86, of Deer Lodge, Tenn., formerly of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2003, at Jamestown Regional Medical Center. She was a founding member of Ridgedale Baptist Church and very active in the Ridgedale Community Club. Retired from Standard Knitting Mill. Preceded in death by husbands, Ernest Huskey and Calvin Hutchens. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Carl Stewart of Murfreesboro; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Wanda Huskey of Deer Lodge, Tenn.; grandchildren, Darlene King of Kodak and Terry Eubanks of Lenoir City; great-grandchildren, Chris and Shawn King and Leslie and Stephen Eubanks; three nieces and one nephew. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Edgewood Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Retired / Martin Marietta Energy Systems/ K25. Member of Westside Community Church of God, Beaver Ridge Masonic Lodge, and Scottish Rite. Survived by wife, Helen Sparks Tinch;sons, Scott A. Tinch of Oak Ridge and Rev. Randy Tinch and his wife Sharon of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jessica Blair Tinch of Oak Ridge, Angela Heatherly and husband Stan of Kissimmee, FL and Timothy R. Tinch and wife Margaret of Knoxville; and great grandchildren, Justin Tinch and Daulton Jackson of Kissimmee, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2003 at 8:00pm at the Westside Community Church of God with Rev. Randy Tinch and Rev. I. A. Sparks officiating. Graveside services are Monday at 11:00am at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Knoxville. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the church.
