    2. >From the Knoxville News Sentinel 16 sep 2003 KING, MARJORIE EDITH - age 82, of Oak Ridge, WENDOLKOWSKI, WALTER STANLEY - age 83, of Oak Ridge, ============================================ KING, MARJORIE EDITH - age 82, of Oak Ridge, died on September 14, 2003, at NHC Health Care Center. Retired teacher / Daniel Arthur Rehabilitation Center. Survivors include, son, Harry G. King, 111 of Espanola, New Mexico; daughters, Juanita Helen King of Clinton, Bertha Ann King Hussey and husband, Jeffery David of Oak Ridge, Susan Rene King of Oak Ridge; brothers, Jon Jackson of California, Sidney Jackson and wife, Emily of Gary, Minnesota, Eugene Jackson and wife, Betty of Meeker, Colo.; sisters, Helen Mary Docken and Laurel Jackson Lee, both of Ada, Mn., June Jackson Wear and husband, William L. of Falcon, Nev.; grandchild, Jared King Hussey of Oak Ridge. Private service will be held later. The family requests, memorials be made to charity of choice or to the Patricia Neal Foundation, 1901 Clinch Ave., Knoxville, TN 37916. Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge, in charge of arrangements. WENDOLKOWSKI, WALTER STANLEY - age 83, of Oak Ridge, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, September 14, 2003. Mr. Wendolkowski lived in Oak Ridge for 60 years and was a faithful member of Kern Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, where he served in the Special Engineering Division as an oceanographer during the Bikini Bomb Tests in the Pacific Ocean. He was a research chemist at Union Carbide's K-25 facility until his retirement in 1984. Mr. Wendolkowski was a man of diverse interests, including golfing, gardening, woodworking, and computers. He loved to analyze the stock market and was Treasurer and a founding member of the Ridge Ventures Stock Club. He will be remembered as a devoted, loving husband and father, and a source of joy for many friends. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce O. Wendolkowski; two daughters, Debbie Godbold of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, and Susan Bryant of Wildwood, Georgia; four grandchildren, Jamie Brennan, Chris Godbold, Kate Brennan and Andrew Godbold, and sons-in-law, Bill Godbold and Chris Bryant. Services celebrating the life of Walter Wendolkowski will be held Wednesday, September 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Kern Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Mark Flynn officiating. Interment will be at Oak Ridge Memorial Park immediately following the service. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Building Fund at Kern Memorial United Methodist Church, 451 East Tennessee Avenue, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge.
