High and dry. Lost our power for 12 hours and lost our water for about 8 hours. Both are now on. We are the luckier ones. While the water is back on everywhere, power is still off for many. Estimates include 5 to 7 days before all power in our area is restored. PEPCO which owns MD and DC power grids said 439,000 homes lost power. Virgina Power said over 500,000 customers lost power.
