"TEX" - age 51, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2003 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Elfreda Laugherty; aunt, Mary Hill; uncle, Grant Hill; and grandmother Daisy Laugherty. Survived by: his wife, Elizabeth Laugherty of Clinton; 4 children, Shane Laugherty and wife Angela of Lawrenceville, GA, Jason Laugherty of Atlanta, GA, Justin Laugherty of Las Crucus, NM, and Lawrence Laugherty of Clinton; father, James Howard Laugherty of Texas; and granddaughter, Daphne Laugherty; sister, Patricia Cobley and husband Bill of Texas; and very special mother and father-in-law, Larry and Charlene MacDonald of Clinton. Service 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel, Father Gerard Finucune officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Anderson Memorial Gardens for interment service at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home. PRESTON, HATTIE VICTORIA CAIN - age 59, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2003 at Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was a Programmer at O.R.A.U. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Margaret Cain. She was born July 25, 1944 in Knox County. Survivors: son, SFC Kelvin Cain of Savannah, Georgia and Sean Cain of Clinton; daughter, Marquetta Cain of Oak Ridge; brothers, Floyd Eugene and wife Shirlene Weaver of Oak Ridge, TN, Bobby Lynn and wife Margo Cain of Nashville, TN, James Leonard and wife Thelma Cain of Knoxville, TN; and sister, Gladys Diane and husband George Moore of Knoxville, TN; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2003 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 12:00 noon Monday at Asbury United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
