(Bill) Parrish, 88, Earl Roach, 86, Caryville, ========================================= Larry Eugene Bolinger, 61, Lake City, died Saturday, October 4, 2003 at his home in the Clear Branch Community. He was a member of the Clear Branch Baptist Church in Lake City. He was born October 10, 1942 in Anderson County. Larry loved gardening and riding his bike and collecting cans in his spare time. He is preceded in death by his father, Harley T. Bolinger; twin sister, Loretta Sue Erwin; brother, Everett Wayne Bolinger. Larry is survived by his mother, Marie Rhea Bolinger, Lake City, brother, Darrell Bolinger, Maynardville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the hospice care who took care of Larry during his short illness. The family would also like to thank Clear Branch Baptist Church members for the prayers and caring that was shown to the family, and also to Diane Ford and Bobbie Balsley for the care the showed during the time that was needed most. Interment followed Tuesday at Leach Cemetery in Lake City. Hatmaker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Kent Craig, 47,LaFollette, died Tuesday, September 30, 2003 in Riverdale, GA. He was a Mason and former member of the West LaFollette Baptist Church. Kent was preceded in death by his father, Bill Craig; grandparents, Dock and Verlie Craig, Lucy and Cube Norman. He is survived by his son, Mathew Craig, Fayetteville, GA; mother, Mrs. Betty Craig, LaFollette; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Jerry Clear, LaFollette; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Graveside services and interment was Wednesday, October 8 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Hobert McCreary officiating. The family received friend Tuesday, October 7 at Walters Funeral Home. Walters Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Glen Gaylor, 64, LaFollette, died Monday, October 6, 2003 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Dessie (Hicks) Gaylor. Glen is survived by his sons, Ronnie Gaylor, Jacksboro, Eddie Gaylor, OH; daughters, Susan Perry, Elk Valley, Darlene Herron, Caryville, Claudene Gaylor, Jacksboro; eight grandchildren; brothers, John Gaylor and Delmus Gaylor, both of Jacksboro; sister, Almeta West, High Springs, FLA. The family received friends at Bakers Forge Cemetery Tuesday, October 7 for graveside and interment services with Brother Tim Wesson officiating. Cross Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Lloyd Milton Grant, 76, LaFollette, died Friday, October 3, 003 at the St. Mary's Health and Rehabilitation Center of Campbell County. He was a member of the Demory Baptist Church. Mr. Grant was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Grant; parents, Silas Milton and Josie Sharp Grant. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Helen Grant, LaFollette; son, Lloyd Michael Grant, Prince George, VA; step-son, Lynn Bullock, Knoxville; step-daughter, Louise Hinch, Powder Springs, GA; granddaughters, Rachael and Lauren Grant; grandson Daniel Grant, all of Hopewell, VA; four great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; brothers, Silas Grant, LaFollette; sisters, Begie Hatmaker, Shoshone, ID, Vivian Carroll, Dayton, OH, Betty Shutterly, Caryville, Aileen Hill, Jacksboro and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were Sunday, October 5 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Cordell officiating. Interment was Tuesday, October 7 in Sunset Memorial Park in Chester, VA. The family received friends Sunday, October 5 before the services. Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Robert Jack Lay, Lake City, died Sunday, October 4, 2003 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was of the Baptist faith. Jack was a retired precision machinist with Fulton County. He was in the United States Marines Corps. He was Mason and in good standing with the Shriners. He was born February 5, 1926 in Anderson County. Jack loved spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Flora Ison Lay; sisters, Edith Richardson and Ruby Parks; brother, Edward Lay; step son, Bobby Lynn Goodman. Robert is survived by his wife, Emma Sue Lay; son, Charles Martin Lay, both of Lake City; niece, Donna Lee McCarter and husband Sam, Kingston; nephews, Paul Wayne Richardson and wife Sandra Lee, Jacksboro, Michael Edward Richardson, Knoxville, Lonnie Parks and wife Mary, Don Parks and wife Carol, Evertte Parks, all of Lake City; sisters-in-law, Janice Goodman, Jacksboro, Jo Ann Martin, Lake City; brother-in-law, Cecil Martin and wife Jenny, Raven, W.V.; special friends, Diane Higgs, Patty Tweed, both of Lake City; several great nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and family. Visitation was Monday, October 6 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Courtney officiating. Interment was Tuesday, October 7 at Leach Cemetery in Lake City. Hatmaker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Wilbert J. (Bill) Parrish, 88, Brooksville, FLA, died September 28, 2003. He worked as plant manager of American Metals in LaFollette. Bill is survived by his wife, Virginia Parrish, Brooksville, FLA; son, Robert Parrish, Augusta, MI; two sisters, Georgia Post, Palm Harbor, FLA, Harriett Thompson, Marshall MI. Burial was in Battle Creek MI. Earl Roach, 86, Caryville, died Friday, October 3, 2003 at St. Mary's Medical Center of Knoxville. He was a member and deacon of Shultz Hollow Baptist Church. He also was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Della Wilson Roach; parents, John and Nettie Roach; sister, Tressie Rhea and brothers, Arlie and Harold Roach. Earl is survived by his wife, Lerah Clotfelter Roach, Caryville; daughter, Joyce and husband, LeRoy Taylor, Caryville; son, Lonnie and wife, Sue Roach, Knoxville; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister, Lean Kate Kidwell, Clinton; brother-in-law, Homer Clotfelter and wife, Willie Mae, LaFollette; special nephew and niece, Dennis and Betty Clotfelter, Caryville; special friend, B. Ray Phillips and wife, Julia Faye, Lake City; other nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The family received friends Tuesday, October 7 at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with the funeral following in the chapel with Reverends B. Ray Phillips and Charlie Mack Marlow officiating. Interment was Wednesday, October 8 at the Blowing Springs Church Cemetery in Clinton.
