HENRY) - age 96, GILES, WAYNE EDWARD - age 72, of Clinton, MARTIN, EULALIA FAYE - of Morristown, formerly of LaFollette, NORRIS, ROBERT ELIJAH "BOB" - age 77, PERRIN, LOUISE FOUST - age 75, SULLIVAN, JAMES CARL - age 89 ============================================ CURTIS, ROBERT ALFORD - age 74, of the Paint Rock Community, formerly of Lenoir City, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 8, 2003, at his home. He was a member, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Pine Grove Baptist Church and caretaker of Pine Grove Cemetery. Bob was a retired machinist from Martin Marietta Y-12 Plant with over 27 years service. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the U. S. Navy. Preceded in death by son, Robert A. "Bobby" Curtis, Jr.; parents, Floyd and Rosena Curtis; brothers and sister-in-law, Floyd K. and June Curtis, and Ben R. Curtis; nephew, Ricky Curtis, and brother-in-law, Tom Green. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Mae Belle Malone Curtis; sons, Danny Curtis and wife, Nancy of Paint Rock, Michael Curtis and wife, Connie of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Natasha Webb of Knoxville, Jacob Curtis and Krista Curtis, both of Lenoir City; brothers, Bill Curtis and wife, Pat, Ed Curtis and wife, Myrtle, all of Lenoir City; sisters, Janice West and husband, Calvin of Loudon, and Joyce Green of Loudon, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hawkins Chapel. The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Tony Brock and Rev. Tony Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Full military honors will be conferred by VFW Post 5150 and American Legions Posts 120 and 70. Curtis. EASTERLY, REBA NIOTA COBB (MRS. HENRY) - age 96, of Fountain City, died at 6:35 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2003, at Little Creek. She was born January 8, 1907, in Solway, Tenn. Member of Central Baptist Church Fountain City. Former active member of Broadway Baptist Church for many years. Preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Henry V. Easterly; parents, Napoleon C. and Ada Leath Cobb; sisters, Helen Cobb, Louie Mae Cobb Anderson; brothers, Ray Cobb, Ben Cobb. Survivors: daughter, Freddie Lou Bolton (widow of Dr. Leon L. Bolton) of Memphis, Tenn.; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Richard Winstead of Brentwood, Tenn.; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard E. and Ruth McCloud Easterly of Knoxville, Joseph C. and Linda Idol Easterly of Seymour; sister, Dixie Cobb McCoy (age 102) of Knoxville; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Lake City. He was born November 13, 1930, in Anderson County, Tenn. He is preceded in death by wife, Christine Edington Giles and parents, Fredrick and Alberta Steele Giles. Survivors: sons, Michael and wife, Sinamar Giles of Anderson County, Russell and wife, Donna Giles of Anderson County, John and wife, Sylvia Giles of Virginia, Greg and wife, Bobetta Giles of Mississippi; daughter, Deborah and husband, Charlie Keck of Anderson County. She was born of the Spirit in 1946, and was a member of Glade Springs Baptist Church, she departed this life Wednesday, October 8, 2003. Eulalia was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Rev. Kyle Martin and her only brother, Henry Goins. She is survived by her son, Ron Martin and daughter and son in law, Bob and Kyla Rowland Mullins of Morristown; sister, Lillian Shepherd of LaFollette. In her blended family, she had seven grandchildren, Todd Martin, Candi Martin, Dr. Charles and Allyson (Rowland) Kinard, Barry & Tammy Rowland, Greg and Judy Mullins, Bobby & Dawn Mullins, Campbell Mullins; and twenty-one great grandchildren. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church, retired from Union Carbide after 29 years and a dealer in "This and That", at the Burlington Flea Market. He was preceded in death by parents, Elijah Elbert and Sarah Elizabeth Norris; siblings, Orly, Wade, J.D., Murrill and Mary Norris, Maurice and James Olds. Survivors: wife, Carolyn; daughter and son in law, Shadie and Adam Surprenant; son and daughter in law, Joe and Lori Norris; grandchildren, William Surprenant, Kim Devereux, Samantha and Austin Norris; great grandchildren, Brandy and Shane Devereux; sisters, Faye Seward, Geraldine Harper, Annie Mae Seward and several nieces and nephews. She was born February 19, 1928 in Anderson County to Dewey E. & Mary Weaver Foust. She was also a member of Hillvale Baptist Church. Preceded in death by son, Charles Perrin; parents, Dewey & Mary Weaver Foust; brothers, Kyle, Arnold, Wendell, Johnny & Lynn Perrin. SULLIVAN, JAMES CARL - age 89 of Knoxville, formerly of Harriman passed away Thursday October 9, 2003 at a Hospice Care Facility in Knoxville. He was born in Overton County, TN October 18, 1913. He was employed at the K-25 Plant in Union Carbide in Oak Ridge and industrial vendors. He was of the Baptist faith and a former member of Trenton Street Baptist Church. Survivors: wife, Edna M. Sullivan of Knoxville; daughters, Carolyn Holland of Knoxville, Donna Hollingsworth of Knoxville, Suzanne Dalton of Stone Mountain, GA; son, James a.
