>From The Knoxville News Sentinel 25 Oct 2003 DAVIDSON, EVERETTE C. - age 83, of Lake City, ========================================= DAVIDSON, EVERETTE C. - age 83, of Lake City, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2003 at his home. Everett was born October 24, 1919 in Lothair, Kentucky. He was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed gardening, fishing, coal mining, working in his yard and metal work in his garage. Everett was Superintendent of Volunteer Mining Corporation in Devonia from 1968-1983. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Sue; parents, A.S. and Polly Couch Davidson; a sister, Henrietta D. Collins and a brother, Adeliah Davidson. Survivors: son, Everett "Woody" Davidson, Jr. of Jackson, KY; daughter, Marbeth Davidson of Lake City, TN; sister, Katherine Quillen of Neon, KY; special niece, Mildred Begley of Red Fox, KY; special friends, Linda F. Hammer of Knoxville, Bobbie and Jr. Carden and Charles and Lois Mills, all of Lake City and Cotton and Patti Nighbert of Caryville. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2003 at Hatmaker Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2003 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Don Martin and Mike Harbin officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2003 at Norris Memorial Gardens in Norris, TN.
