    2. >From The Knoxville News sentinel 23 Oct 2003 EDLIN, JUDY - age 77 of Powell, HANSARD, MABEL KIRK - age 90, MILLER, MR. BILLY MAURICE - age 52, ========================================= EDLIN, JUDY - age 77 of Powell, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at the Parkwest Hospital. She was a member of the Clinton Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Donald; 2 sons, Ron Edlin of Cincinnati, Ohio and Bob Edlin and wife, Mandy of Manchester, Tenn.; 2 daughters, Barbara Tanner and husband, Dale of Powell and Joyce Hall and husband, Tim of Johnson City; grandchildren, Jessica, Sondra and Smanatha Edlin, Nathan, David and Rebecca Hall, Brenda, Sarah, and Daniel Tanner and Richard, Lydia, and Laura Edlin; 2 sisters, Jimmie McDaniel of Murfreesboro and Myrtle Tenpenny of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2003 at the Weaver Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday at the Karns Church of Christ. Tim Hall will officiate. The family will then go in procession for burial at the Oakridge Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ron Edlin, Richard Edlin, Nathan Hall, Dale Tanner, Daniel Tanner and Bob Edlin. Weaver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. HANSARD, MABEL KIRK - age 90, went home to her heavenly Father, October 20, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Hansard; parents, James E. and Rosa Lee Lewis Kirk; brothers, Edgar and Curtis Kirk; and sister, Georgia Kirk. She was the last surviving charter member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Anderson County. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Andersonville and was Past Worthy Matron. She was invited to attend the General Grand Chapter of OES of Milwaukee, Wis. in 1970 and sang in the Grand Choir. Survivors include, daughter and son in law, Marleen and Don Henderson of Greensboro, NC; son and daughter in law James R. and Nancy Hansard of Farragut; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Edna Foster and Alby Fortham. She was a wonderful mother and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral service 8 p.m. Friday in Mynatt's Chapel, Rev. Eddie Myers officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery for graveside service 11 a.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a hospice program of your choice. The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home. MILLER, MR. BILLY MAURICE - age 52, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at his home in Oakdale, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Jesse and Eula Mae Miller, both of Oakdale. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carlett Miller; two sons, Jim Miller of Harriman and Billy Wayne Miller of Stanford, North Carolina; three daughters, Nicole, Sonja and Trisha Miller, all of Oakdale; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian and Robert Paxton of Lancing, Joyce and Kenneth Suggs of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, Audrey and Vic Jeffers of Oakdale and Barbara and Dean Kamer of Oakdale; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Leona Miller of Oakdale, Donald and Pam Miller of Oakdale, Mike and Loretta Miller of Friendsville, Charles Miller of Oakdale and Bob Miller of Oakdale; father-in-law, James Coffey of Harriman and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 23, 2003 from 6-8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Bro. Allen Coffey officiating.
