    2. >From The Knoxville News Sentinel 26 Oct 2003 CRANDALL, DOUGLAS, ROBERT - age 20 of Oak Ridge, DONAHOE, VIRGINIA ELIZABETH TAYLOR - age 87, JOHNSON, MARY O. - age 69, of Knoxville, TN ========================================= CRANDALL, DOUGLAS, ROBERT - age 20 of Oak Ridge, passed away Thursday October 23, 2003 after a lengthy illness. Born December 26, 1982 in Muncie, Ind. Douglas was a member of the Woodland Park Baptist Church. He attended Oak Ridge High School and Roane State Community College. He enjoyed video games, working out, and the outdoors. He would go out of his way to help people in need. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer and Lida Crandall. Survived by his parents, Robert R. and Vivian (Vicky) Wright Crandall of Oak Ridge; his love, Christina Lee Dawn Bean of Oak Ridge; a daughter, Alicia Franklyn Crandall of Oak Ridge; three brothers, Christopher Lee Crandall, Brandon Lee Crandall and Gregory Ray Crandall all of Oak Ridge; one sister, Kristina Marie Crandall of Oak Ridge; one niece, Austyn Paige Crandall of Oak Ridge; maternal grandparents, Karen and Elzie Wright, Jr. of Jamestown, Tenn.; aunts and uncles, Glen Wright, Jodi and Tim Haun, Sherry and Waynn Bratcher, Dennis and Therasa Terry, Samuel Elzie Wright, II, Cindy Wright, Donald and Cindy Crandall, Gary and Cathy Crandall, Kenny and Linda Kay Meador; special cousins, Joseph Zamudio and Jeff Phipps; several other cousins, Funeral services will be Sunday October 26, 2003 at 8 p.m. at Woodland Park Baptist Church with Rev. Herbert Lee officiating. Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. CST in the Taylor Place Cemetery in Jamestown, Tenn. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Woodland Park Baptist Church in memory of Douglas. Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home is in charge. DONAHOE, VIRGINIA ELIZABETH TAYLOR - age 87, passed away at Brakebill Nursing Home at 9:30 a.m. October 23, 2003. She was a resident of Oak Ridge and a member of the Trinity Methodist Church. She retired from Union Carbide, K25, where she started as a chauffeur in the early 1940s and finally served several top executives as their secretary until her retirement in the early 1980s. She was a continuous member of the K-25 Credit Union since 1950. In 1978, she served on a committee of twelve co-workers to form the K-25 Retiree Association. She served this organization as President from conception until 2002. For many years she organized and led annual travel groups of employees and their friends to all continents, most countries and major cities of the world. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Women's Club and worked as a volunteer at the Oak Ridge Methodist Hospital Gift Shop. She also helped to organize special events for her company and community. Virginia was preceded in death by her five siblings, including her one sister, Elva Taylor Walters; her husband, Robert (Bud) Donahoe and their son, Robert Edward. She is survived by three nephews, Jim and Gerald Walters and Forest Taylor, all of Knoxville; and two nieces, Tony Ann Taylor Bunnel of Crooked River Ranch, Oregon and Ann Tharp Poston. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at 2 p.m. for graveside services at Greenwood Cemetery with The Reverend Aldana Allen officiating. She will be buried near her parents, siblings, husband, son and brother in law. Arrangements by Mynatt Funeral Home. JOHNSON, MARY O. - age 69, of Knoxville, TN passed away Friday, October 24, 2003 at the UT Medical Center of Knoxville. She was born July 24, 1934 in Anderson County, Tennessee. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and listening to country music. She was of the Baptist faith. Mary is preceded in death by her parents: Leonard & Myrtle Fritts Isabell; husbands, Clyde Braden & Clyde Hayes; brother Condy Isabell; sisters, Pearl Daugherty, Marie Tackett, & Bonnie Smith. Survivors: husband, Elmer Johnson, Knoxville, TN; sons & daughters-in-law, Joe & Louise Braden, Clinton, TN, Randel & Denise Hayes, Knoxville, TN; daughters & sons-in-law, Violet & Tommy Gaines, Georgia, Pam & Joe Kassari, Knoxville, TN, Tammy & Junior Stevens, Philadelphia, TN; 18 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Kimberlin, Lafollette, TN, Christin Isabell, Lafollette, TN, Louise Melton, Lake City, TN, Sharlet Phillips, Lafollette, TN, Stella Doll, Lake City, TN; brothers, C.L.
