Does any one have a Milton or Lewis Adkins in their lines? I'm having trouble finding Lewis' father. I know his mother's name is Nancy (maiden name Unknown). Lewis is listed as living with her in the 1850 census. She's listed as a widow. Lewis married (1) Clara Harmon and (2) Susan Miller Day. Milton (Mit) married Lucinda Katherine Day, d/o George Day and Susan Miller. Lewis is listed in the 1880 with Susan as his wife. Is it safe to say that Susan was Lucinda's mother? There are 2 children in the household with the surname of Day. Can someone please help with this brick wall? I have been working on these Adkins' for a while now.
