    3. Juanita Darnell died Thursday, March 6, at the Upjohn Nursing Home in Kalamazoo where she had lived since January. She was born February 28, 1922 in LaFollette, the daughter of Herbert and Bessie Williams. Prior to moving to Delton she had lived in Riverview, MI for several years. Primarily a homemaker, Juanita enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing cards. She especially enjoyed caring for her longtime companion, her dog Crockett. Juanita married Thomas E. Darnell on April 12, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1983. She was also preceded in death by a son Roy Darnell in 1965 and recently her dog Crockett. Surviving is her daughter Jackie (John) Bauman of Delton and a son Jerry (Peg) Darnell of Wyandotte. Also surviving are grandchildren Suzy, Linda and John Bauman, Ronald, Gary, Andrew and Sara Darnell, 6 great grandchildren, a special niece patsy (Bobby Ray) McDonald, and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services were at the Thon Funeral Home in Wyandotte. Interment were at Ferndale Cemetery, Riverview, MI Lewis Paul Huddleston, 65,of Duff died Wednesday, April 9 at his daughter Shonna's residence in LaFollette. Wife, Mary Opal Huddleston and son, Wade Allen Huddleston, preceded him in death. He is survived by; three daughters, Shonna Lamberson of LaFollette, Tammy Rutherford of White Oak, Sarina Davis of Sled Creek: grandchildren, Caitlyn MacKenzie Lamberson of LaFollette, Tommy L. Lamberson III of LaFollette, Allie Elizabeth Rutherford, Anthony Rutherford, Conner A. Rutherford, Shelby L. Bolton, Keith Bolton all of White Oak: one brother, Billy Huddleston of White Oak: four sisters, Agnes Hudson of Stinking Creek, Eleanor King of White Oak, Shirley Evans of LaFollette, June Green of Stinking Creek and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services were Saturday April 12 at Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Paul Cox and Rev. James Leach officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Harp Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of arrangements. LOU (HACKLER) HERREL,55, of Jellico died Monday, April 7 at Jellico community Hospital. She was born to Allie and Herbert Hackler on June 21,1947. She was preceded in death by: sister, HerbaJean Hackler, father, Herbert Hackler. She is survived by her husband Don Herrell, mother Allie Hackler,three sons; Chris Herrell, Lhaun Herrell and wife Agnes; Ron Herrel all of Jellico One daughter; Layne Herrell and William Ivey of Jellico, seven grandchildren; Joie Ivey, Kristy Herrell, Megan Ivey, Brittany Herrell, Beth Ivey, Chris Herrell, Casie Herrel, all of Jellico. One brother; Herbert Hackler and wife June of Jellico, two sisters; Joy Herrel of Pikeville, Lois Holland of LaFollette; and several nieces and nephews. The family gives special mention to; Kay rose, sister-in-law; Betty Sowder, and Charles and Nina Marples. Funeral Services were Thursday, April 10 at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Wilson officiating. Mary Ellen Hicks,54, Duff died Tuesday,April 15, at St. Mary's Medical Center Campbell County. She was a member of New Freedom Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Daniel Hicks, and father Frank Williamson. Mrs. Hicks is survived by her mother, Mildred Williamson; son, John Wesley Cox; grandson, Jason Lee Cox brother; Kenneth Williamson all of Duff; one sister, Frankie Hicks, LaFollette. Funeral services were April 16 at Cross Chapel with Rev. Tim Dupuy and Rev. Wade Walls officiating. Interment was April 17 at Davis Cemetery, Stinking Creek. Perry Wilson, 43, of 117 West Hill Street, LaFollette died Monday, April 7,at his home. He was a member of Indian Mound Baptist Church. He is survived by son James Mark Wilson, daughter, Laura DeShea Wilson, both of Florida, one granddaughter, parents Rev. Charles O. and Eleanor Robbins Wilson of LaFollette; brother and sister-in-law Terry Lee and Barbara Wilson of Jacksboro; Aunt and Uncle Learlene and R.B. Woodard of Jacksboro, three nephews and one niece and a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral services were Thursday in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Interment, Friday in Campbell Memorial Gardens. Pearl Rice Wilson, 90, of 817 Butter & Egg Road, Jacksboro died Thursday, April 10, at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. She was the last charter member of the Lake View Baptist Church. Pearl was always an active member all through the years. She sang in the choir and always had a solo to sing if called upon. Her husband's, Sam Rice and George Wilson; parents, Hugh and Texie Bell Evans; four brothers and one sister preceded her in death. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, James and Patricia rice of Wallan, George and Joyce Wilson of LaFollette, daughter and sons-in-law, Helen and Wayne Richmond of Berea, Frankie and Rex Mays; daughter, Mary Lee and Oscar Kings all of Jacksboro; grandchildren, Darrel and Regina Rutherford, Gabe and Joi McCarty, Traci and Daniel Ramsey, Roger and Teresa King, Malia and Brian Becker, Sam and Beth Rice, 10 great grandchildren, sister, Magadline Sharp of Jacksboro, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were Sunday, April 13 at the Lake View Baptist Church with Rev. roger Stanley and Rev. Steve Elkins officiating. Interment followed in Campbell Memorial Gardens. Martin Wilson Funeral Home of LaFollette was in charge of the arrangements. Whitney Brooke Chapman, age 14 of 320 Moneymaker Lane, Jacksboro passed away Monday, March 24, at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell County. She was a member of the Woodlake Baptist Church.Whitney was a very special daughter who brought smiles and joy to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by Grandfather, John H. Smith Sr. Miss Chapman is survived by Parents, Teddy and Pamela Smith Chapman; Sister, Ashley Nicole Chapman all of Jacksboro; Grandparents, Jerry and Hettie Chapman, and Grandmother,Anna Smith all of LaFollette; Uncle and Aunts, Danny and Gina Chapman; Stacey and Katina Chapman all of Jacksboro; Steven and Christy Chapman of Knoxville; Justin Chapman and Connie and Mickey McKamey all of LaFollette: Dr. John H. Jr. and Amy Smith of Columbia, MD; 10 first Cousins; several other cousins and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were Wednesday, March 26, at Woodlake Baptist Church with Rev. George Asbury and Rev. Harold Robbins officiating. Interment was Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Martin Wilson Funeral Home of LaFollette was in charge of the arrangements. Wilma Jean Wilson, age 62 of Lake City died Monday, April 14 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was born August 6,1940 in Anderson County. She was a member of Guiding Star Baptist Church in Lake City. Wilma was retired from M&M Mars in Cleveland, TN., She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by all who knew her. Mother, Carrie Kindred Wilson, husband, Homer Wilson Sr. and a sister, Betty Seymanski, precedes her in death. She is survived by Father, Chesley Jackson; two brothers, Kenneth, and wife Margaret Jackson, Terry, and wife Norma Jackson all of Lake City; one son, Homer Wilson Jr.; grandson, Byron Lee Wilson, both of Cleveland; four sisters, Brenda Smith, Oliver Springs, Robin, and husband Kenneth Rains, Tonya, and husband, J.C. Hooks, Florida and Andrea Dotson, both of Lake City and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were at Hatmaker Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Rains officiating. Interment: Thursday, April 17 at 11a.m. at the Leach Cemetery in Lake City.
